We live in world where most of our day to day work is mechanized and there is no space for any exercise. Most of us spend long hours in front of the computers and are subjected to stress. A recent study reveals that most deaths occur due to obesity, a condition where the individual has excessive amount of fat in his/her body which has adverse effects on his/her body. Obese people have a high risk of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and many other diseases.
When it comes to weight loss we find three kinds of people- those who are excessively obsessed with weight loss, those who are moderately obsessed and finally those who remain undeterred by the addition of a few extra pounds to their waistline.
The first group of people is addicted to slimming and would suffer a nervous breakdown on the addition of a few pounds. They sometimes suffer from a condition called anorexia where the person suffers from an eating disorder and is excessively low amounts of fat in their body. The third group of people is the ones who are obese and are least bothered about their condition.

It is better to take the moderate path with weight loss and always keep a watch on our weight and exercise regularly to look healthy and young. There are many retailer’s who give you options of losing weight without exercise and offer solutions that have adverse side effects. Crash diets and low calorie food are not the only solutions to lose the extra pounds. Sensible eating and regular exercise for about 45 minutes a day will only help.
As one nears his/her 40’s it is highly important to have a balanced diet and to exercise in order to avoid the multiple diseases that are caused due to overweight.
